Aero-Crop provides professional agricultural drone spraying services across the UK, delivering precise aerial applications to crops and difficult-to-access land.
Drone spraying avoids wheel marks and soil compaction while providing access to wet, steep or sensitive ground where conventional machinery may be impractical. It can also enable timely applications to tall or established crops without driving through the field.
Applications can include:
Foliar Applications & Crop Nutrition
Maize is a good example of where drone application can provide an advantage. Foliar nitrogen, micronutrients and biostimulants can be applied later in the season without driving machinery through a tall standing crop.
Drone application can also provide an option when wet ground, sensitive soils or difficult terrain restrict conventional machinery, allowing treatments to be carried out at the appropriate crop stage without creating wheel damage or soil compaction.
Pesticides & Bracken Spraying
Pesticide application by drone are being actively explored and trialed, including the potential use of drones for bracken and gorse spraying on steep and difficult to access land.
Drone application could provide an alternative in areas where operating tractors, ATVs or other ground machinery is difficult or unsafe.
These applications are currently subject to the necessary regulatory and product approvals and are not yet offered as a standard commercial service.
If you have land where future drone bracken spraying could be useful, please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Why choose drone spraying?
Tell us about your application and we'll discuss whether drone spraying is suitable.
Saturated March ground stopped tractors entering this organic farm. Drone spraying allowed a seaweed biostimulant to be applied across more than 200 hectares.
Late foliar nitrogen application to standing maize just before tasseling stage — treating the crop without wheel damage, soil compaction or driving machinery through established crop.
