Drone Agricultural Services: Upcoming Offerings
We continuously invest in technology, training, and operational capability to expand our services in line with UK regulation. The following applications are planned services, with some in development and others awaiting product authorization for drone application.
**Drone Mapping and Surveying**
This service will offer high-resolution weed mapping and crop health analysis, supporting precision agriculture through the creation of prescription maps for targeted field management.
**Targeted Bracken Control**
Once approved (glyphosate-based) products become available, aerial spraying using drones will provide a highly effective solution for bracken control in steep, remote, or environmentally sensitive terrains where conventional machinery access is limited or unsafe. This approach holds great potential for upland areas, forestry edges, and conservation land, minimizing ground disturbance and operator risk.
**Slug Pellet Application**
Drone spreading of slug pellets allows for precise, low-impact application, especially beneficial in wet conditions and for early-season crops, as well as in fields where trafficking could cause soil damage.
**Insecticides & Fungicides Applications**
This method has strong potential across various sectors, such as arable crops, horticulture, orchards, and nurseries. Utilizing drones facilitates low water volume application and targeted prescription map based application, thereby reducing chemical use.
All future services will be delivered only where legally permitted, employing approved products, trained operators, and maintaining full record keeping.
If you’d like to be notified as these services become available or discuss future use cases specific to your site, we’re always happy to talk.
